User Manual and Maintenance Guide for Product

By reading this section, you can:

Familiarize yourself with the nature of different types of wood, paint, and fabric.

Learn about the correct method of using and maintaining your purchased furniture and products.

Fabric

For velvet fabrics to lie without wrinkles on the sofa, they need to be avoided from being stretched on the sofa pattern. If you pull firmly on the body of the sofa or put too much weight on the arm or seat of the sofa, unlined fabrics will “walk” so to speak. This means that no matter how tightly the sofa pattern is taken, these fabrics can still be gathered a few centimeters at one point. Therefore, the remaining hand prints on these fabrics due to gathering from the sides is a natural phenomenon and has nothing to do with the quality, method, and sewing technology.

In fabrics that have no elasticity in the width or length of the fabric and are dry and framed, the pattern of the fabric for round volumes and the shape of the furniture will not be suitable, and they will have a better appearance in framed works and cubic volumes. If you have used this type of fabric in your sofa order, permanent wrinkles and permanent lines will be seen on the sofa in the curves.

Please note that when buying furniture, be sure to pay attention to the advice of the seller of a reputable brand about the appropriate fabric for the style and volume of the sofa, and if you use a fabric that is not standard for the sofa based on your taste, be aware of the possible problems that may arise for that product.

  • If you use covers on the goods for decoration or maintenance, these covers should not be plastic, as they will damage the protective layer of the wood over time. In addition, change the location of decorative items on the items from time to time so that the surface under them does not become two-colored.
  • To clean the wooden parts of the product, it is best to use clean, damp cloths without using chemicals and, if possible, chlorine-free water.

Difference in wood color in different parts of a product with coating color, veneer and natural oil colors:

Three types of colors can be ordered for the painting of a wooden product: The first type is the use of covering paints, in which case the texture and color of the wood will not be visible.

The second case is the use of (chemical) veneer paints on wood, which can cover different parts of the wood with different tones of ink, and the output of the work will be very similar in all parts.

The third type is natural vegetable oil paints that well display the beauty and texture of the wood, but since in nature there is no part of any tree and even in a piece of wood that is completely similar in color and shape, the inherent differences between different parts, especially in the neutral codes (light) of these oils, is about 20 to 40 percent likely.

Therefore, if you are one of those who love the nature of wood and prefer its eye-catching beauty, be sure to use vegetable oil paints because they bring the beauty of nature to homes.

But if you are one of those who are looking for 100% uniformity and symmetry in everything, try to use darker colors for your product orders.

About seat and back cushions

(viscose, foam and pocket springs):

Your sofa cushions and backs fall into three categories. Foam cushions have a fixed shape and form and show a neat appearance even after getting up from the sofa. Elastic and stretchy fabrics on the foam will have a slight movement, so they gather very little and maintain their shape. Of course, the quality and brand of the foam manufacturer and its cutting method for the sofa in the output of the work, beauty and useful life of your furniture has a great effect.

In addition to these cushions, there are viscose cushions that offer special comfort like a pillow or cushion. They are very relaxing for lounging and resting in front of the TV and take shape with the weight applied. But naturally, after the weight is lifted from them, they need to be tidied up and should return to their original shape using the methods we will teach you (tidying up methods).

Pocket spring seats also have layers of felt, sponge, and tempered steel springs, which offer very high comfort, a significantly longer useful life, and quick recovery to their original shape. Due to the distribution of springs in different areas, weight is not concentrated at specific points but spread out. Therefore, it prevents deformation, localized sinking, and damage to the mattress. Due to these advantages, this type of mattress is also used in our products.

What causes cushions and sofas to bunch up and wrinkle?

It can be confidently said that we spend a lot of time on our home furniture, which puts constant and steady pressure on the cushions. Thus, like any other item we use, it is subject to wear and tear.

Moreover, many of us sit in the same spots on the furniture out of habit, causing extra pressure on these areas.

Remember that during the first three months of use, sponges tend to soften. This is a natural state due to the compression of the polyurethane microcells.

Furniture Maintenance:

To maintain the appearance of your home furniture, especially in comfortable models, regular upkeep is required. These techniques will help maintain the beauty of your furniture and keep its appearance like new for years.

  • Gently tap the back of the furniture with both hands and smooth the back fabric from inside to outside. This method does not apply to tufted sections.
  • Pull the end of the backrest and gently tap the backrest. Gently tap the armrests and smooth the fabric from the center outward. After use, smooth the seat fabric towards the back and sides.
  • Avoid applying unusual loads on the backrest and armrests (connections and mechanisms) and sitting on them.
  • Do not pull out any threads from the fabrics or seams but cut them from the end without damaging the fabric.
  • Remove all detachable cushions and mattresses from the sofa. Vacuum the sofa with a suitable head and low setting.
  • Rotate removable cushions monthly.
  • Hold small cushions by both sides and press them towards the center. Rotate the cushion and do the same on the other side. Repeat this for all small cushions that can be held in your hands.
  • Run your hand over the surface of cushions and armrests to identify areas that need padding.
  • Gently tap large cushions with the palm of your hand. or large cushions, place one side on the ground and keep the other side raised. Gently tap areas where the cushion has bunched up or flattened.
  • Run your hand from the center to the stitching line to smooth out bunching fabric on armrests and cushions.
  • To restore the mattress to its original shape, press it from top to bottom and from the sides. Repeat the process on the other side.

Cleaning Furniture:

To prolong the lifespan and beauty of your furniture, simple care techniques can be highly effective. If you do not have information about the specific fabric of your furniture, it may be damaged, leading to dissatisfaction both in appearance and repair costs. Regular dusting and cleaning are necessary to maintain the appearance of your furniture Dust can create deposits on surfaces that may scratch the wood.

Additionally, dust accumulation can cause allergies and be harmful. Since most dust settles in the fibers and fabric of the upholstery, regularly vacuum the fabric surface (with a soft brush) or use natural fibers and nano fabrics (slightly damp) to clean the furniture.

Dry brushing with very soft, lint-free brushes removes food particles, lint, and dust from the surface. Rough brushes can damage most fabrics.

Vacuming can be beneficial for your furniture. Use suitable vacum heads and settings to clean removable parts and less accessible areas, or vacuum the entire surface of cushions.

It is advisable to avoid washing your sofa as much as possible.

However, if there are deep stains that require cleaning, follow these steps:

Before washing, determine the fabric’s resistance to cleaning agents, which is categorized into four groups:

  • Group 1: Only clean with water-soluble cleaners; chemicals (alcohol, ammonia, acids, bleach) can damage the fabric.
  • Group 2: Must be cleaned with dry cleaning agents without water.
  • Group 3: Resistant to both types of cleaning methods.
  • Group 4: Typically for natural fiber upholstery, which can only be dusted and vacuumed.

Always consult with after-sales service experts before washing to avoid voiding the warranty or damaging the product.

  • Use baking soda: Always test any cleaning product on an inconspicuous area of fabric before using it to make sure it doesn’t damage the fabric. Sprinkle it on the surface, gently spread it with a soft brush, and let it sit for a few hours. Then vacuum it up.
  • For deep stains, you can use a mixture of carpet shampoo and a small amount of water to create foam. Clean with the foam and a colorless sponge avoid scrubbing in a back-and-forth motion.
  • To remove odors, use a mixture of water and white vinegar (70:30 ratio), and apply in a well-ventilated area. Apply in a well-ventilated area. The vinegar smell will dissipate from the fabric after a while in an environment with air circulation, removing the unpleasant odor.
  • Use soap powder.
  • Do not use alcohol on fabrics other than microfiber as it can severely damage many types of fabric. For example, alcohol can severely damage most burlap-woven fabrics.

Finally, wash all slipcovers together to prevent color variations between different sections.

Please note that any damage caused by cleaning your furniture will void the warranty.

Here are some tips for keeping your furniture in good condition:

  • Avoid direct sunlight, excessive humidity, and high heat, which can damage both fabric and wood, just as they can damage our bodies and other materials. To extend the life of your furniture, avoid exposing it to these elements.
  • To dry a wet sofa, avoid using direct sunlight, an iron, or a heater, as these methods can damage the furniture. The best way to dry the cushions is to place them in a warm, well-ventilated area.
  • Pets can quickly discover the comfort of your furniture. Therefore, they consider your sofa to be their resting place, at least when you’re not around. To prevent pilling or staining the fabric, consider using a washable protective cover for the areas you use most frequently.
  • Avoid sudden weight drops on furniture to prevent deformation and damage.
  • Avoid jumping or standing on furniture, and do not push or pull furniture by its arms or cushions.
  • When moving furniture, avoid pushing it by the arms or side cushions.
  • Sitting on the arms or backrests can deform the furniture and cause damage. especially if these parts have moving mechanisms. A common habit that can damage chairs is leaning back the backrest and rocking on the two back legs, which is likely to damage any type of chair.
  • All three of these actions can put stress on areas of furniture that are not designed to withstand excessive weight or pressure in the wrong direction, causing damage. In most cases, these types of damage cannot be repaired with home remedies and will require professional service. Many of these defects will also be considered void of warranty due to improper use.
